What are the benefits of Creative Dinners & More?

Time, Money, Convenience and Nutrition! It would take you 10 hours or more to gather your recipes, purchase all the food, chop and prepare the ingredients, package and label the food. In just 2 hours or less, you can have the same results and enjoy preparing dinner for your family! Buying in bulk also helps us pass the savings on to you. Even better, have us assemble your dinners and all you need to do is stop by and pick them up!

How can I get my family involved?

Get your kids involved in the process. Have them help pick out your dinner selections prior to the session. Or have them choose which dinner will be served on a particular night of the week. They will be just as excited as you to have more options available to them.

Purchasing Dinners

Can I pick up already-prepared dinners at your McMurray Store?

Yes, we have a large selection of 3-serving and 6-serving preassembled dinners in our freezer, as well as a daily selection of fresh 3 or 6 serving dinners available. 3-serving dinners are $13 and 6-serving are $22 when you buy from our McMurray Store. Our store hours are Monday-Friday 10a.m.-6:30p.m.

I don't live near your McMurray store, how can I get dinners in other areas?

The benefits of our service makes it easy for you to plan one trip to our store and purchase dinners for the month. We also provide weekly deliveries to the Wexford area and monthly deliveries to the Robinson area.

The 6 serving portion is too large for my family. Can I split the meals?

Yes, most meals can be split into 3-serving dinners. We also have 3-serving dinners available fresh or from our freezer at our McMurray store. The cost for a 3-serving dinner is $13.

The Session

What if I do not like an ingredient in the recipe?

Simply leave it out! Meat, poultry, and seafood are portioned for each meal but the rest is up to you. You can add as much or as little of an ingredient as you like. We provide measurements for the recipe as a guide, but feel free to add, delete, or change the ingredients to cater to your family’s preferences. If ordering dinners to be made by our staff, simply indicate specific ingredients that need to be omitted.

Can I bring an additional guest with me?

If you would like to bring a guest to assist you at a session, please limit it to ONE additional person (age 10 or over) per order . This policy helps to ensure that each person who has placed an order will have the opportunity to assemble their dinners in an efficient manner. At the session, you and your guest will need to work together at each station.

What happens if I don’t finish in the 2 hour session?

We realize that you have a busy schedule, so our friendly staff will be glad to help keep you on track. However, if you would like to stay late, be our guest.

Are sessions ever cancelled?

Occasionally, sessions are cancelled due to limited attendance or inclement winter weather. If this happens, we will notify you immediately to make alternate arrangements. If you prefer, you may sign up for a different session, or we will assemble your dinners to be picked up at your convenience for no additional charge.

Packaging / Taking Dinners Home

How will I transport my dinners home?

We recommend bringing a cooler or basket to transport your dinners home. Creative Dinners’ coolers on wheels are available to purchase at all of our stores.

Preparing the Meals at Home / The Results

Will my freezer hold 8-12 dinners?

Most of our meals are double packed in 10”x13” freezer bags, therefore, utilizing the least amount of freezer space possible. Storing entrees flat and starting with an empty freezer shelf will help minimize the space used by your dinners. Having Creative Dinners at home also means purchasing less frozen dinners from the store as well, which will also provide extra storage room.

How do I provide feedback about my experience at the session as well as meal preparation questions?

Was something not right? Cooking instructions were not clear? How about a suggestion for a new meal or a complement for a task done especially well? Comment cards are available at each session. Or simply call or email us with any suggestions you may have regarding any area of our business. We are always open to comments and will strive to correct or improve on any areas.
